My wedding date:

When do I want to send out my save the dates?

( You typically want to send out save the dates 4-6 months before your wedding.  You may need to add extra time for a destination wedding. )

( You typically want to send them out 6-12 weeks before your wedding. )

When do need to order my invitations or save the dates?

( Order no later than 3 weeks before you want to send your invitations or save the dates.  4-6 weeks before sending will leave you plenty of time. )

If any of these statements is true for you then you should consider sending save the dates!

what info will i need for my invitations?

How many invitations will I need?

( Order about 10% more than your guest count just in case )

What colors do I want my invitations to be?

What is the date, time, and location of the wedding ceremony?

( You may want a separate ceremony card if only certain people are invited to the ceremony. )

What is the date, time, and location of the wedding reception?

( You may want a separate reception card if your reception is at a different location than the ceremony.  Then you can include the address and directions from the ceremony. )

RSVP info:

What reply date do I want on my RSVP card?

( A typical reply by date is 4-8  weeks prior to the wedding. )

Which of the following additional info boxes do you want on your RSVP cards?

Meal options

Number of guests attending

Song requests

Special note to the couple

Shuttle option

Anything else?

Which type of RSVP card is right for me?

Small RSVP card that has minimal information such as reply by date and response to a phone number, email
address or website.  This card is not mailed back so you wouldn’t have to pay for extra postage and the smaller card is much less expensive than a traditional RSVP card.  Added bonus, this environmentally friendly option costs less and uses less resources.

A traditional mail back RSVP card with envelope.  This card can hold extra information such as Meal Options
and Number of guests attending, and other fun info like song requests.  Guests mail this card back so you
would need to purchase stamps and also put your return address on the envelope.

what other cards do i need?

Check off the cards you’d like to include in your invitation order:

Standard Invitation or Photo Invitation

Small RSVP card or Standard RSVP card

Ceremony Card
